Mallorca – a small universe of 3684 km²

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and the one that offers the greatest variety:
Beautiful beaches, hidden bays, impressing caves, fertile flat land, the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range...

On arriving in Mallorca you better forget everything else and just enjoy the island with all your senses – its freshness, its perfumes, its flavours and the wonderful mild Mediterranean climate. About Palma

Mallorca’s capital is a bustling city, full of life and interesting things to see. Stroll through the narrow streets of Palma’s old city, shop till you drop in the numerous fashion-, design-, and handicraft-stores, visit some of the fascinating museums and art-galleries, walk down the Ramblas and the Paseo del Born (two long pedestrian strips shaded by leafy trees and lined with new-stands, cafes and flower stands), relax on the terrace of a cosy tapas-bar or enjoy the never-ending nightlife. If you visit Palma you won’t get bored.

This city is a shopper’s paradise. The most popular shopping avenues are Avenida Jaime III, Passeig des Born and Passeig de la Rambla, but it’s definitely worth to explore as well all the narrow streets of the St. Catalina area. Take your time and bring some money.

At night the place to go is the “La Llotja” area close to the harbour. Here you will find some of the best restaurants and the most popular bars and clubs. For more nightlife you can just walk along Paseo Maritimo in western direction, towards the bright lights of Palma’s legendary discoteques Tito’s and Pacha. New in town and pretty popular: The after-work-parties on Wednesdays in Club 113 on the Paseo Maritimo.

If you are looking for glamour, luxury and snobs head for Puerto Portals. The marina is home to the in-crowd, showing off their super yachts, fast cars and designer-clothes.

Explore the bars and cafes, full of enchantment and atmosphere, enjoy the great views across the valley and out to the sea, or walk down to Cala Deia to jump into the clear, blue water and to taste some fresh fish in a pretty, small restaurant by the sea.

About Soller / Port de Soller

This pretty village, situated in a fertile valley and surrounded by high mountains, is a popular destination for a day out, where you can find many shops and restaurants. Try one of the walking-tours that start in this area or take the tram to the port and walk up to the lighthouse. Your reward will be a spectacular view and an excellent restaurant.

About Port de Pollenca

Port de Pollenca is one of the prettiest little villages of Mallorca. It is the ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches and a popular destination of surfers, sailors and scuba-divers. Must-do: Visit the spectacular cliffs and the lighthouse of Cap de Formentor and spend a wonderful afternoon in Cala Pi, a stretch of fine white sand and cristal clear water, protected by Pine and Oak trees, close to the luxury Hotel Formentor.
